How do I know if my Samsung Food and Samsung Account are synced?
Log in using Samsung as your authentication provider. If all your recipes and collections appear, you’re all set. If not, please follow the steps in this article: Linking your Samsung Account to your Samsung Food Account.

I’m using both iPhone and Android devices with the same account. Do I still need to connect to a Samsung Account?
Yes. To keep your data (like saved recipes and meal plans) synced across devices and platforms, it’s recommended to connect to your Samsung Account - even if you're using the same Samsung Food account on both iOS and Android.
Do I need to connect through the app or can I use the web?
You can connect your Samsung Account via either the app or the web - both options work. Just make sure you're logged into the same Samsung Account across platforms.
Will I lose my saved recipes or account info if I don’t connect to my Samsung Account?
If you don’t connect to your Samsung Account, your data may remain local to the device and could be lost if you log out of the app, uninstall the app, switch devices, or clear your data.
Connecting ensures your content is safely backed up and synced.
I’m getting an error and can't access the "Forgot Password" page.
If you're seeing login errors or can’t access the "Forgot Password" page, make sure you're logged out of SmartThings first.
If you try to log in to Samsung Food directly with your Samsung Account while still logged into SmartThings, you may be automatically logged in through SmartThings. This could result in a new Samsung Account being created, causing your Samsung account data to be disconnected or lost.
I use my phone number to login. What do I need to do?
