What happened to the Communities button in the bottom nav bar?
Communities is now part of the Home Feed. Press Home in the lower nav bar and you can toggle between Notifications and Community
Where has the search functionality moved?
When we launched the updated Home Feed, we moved search to the lower nav bar
How do I access my Recipe Box?
When we launched the updated Home Feed, we changed Recipes to Saved.
What activities should I see in my Home Feed?
The Home Feed is all about activity in the Communities that you have joined and new recipe recommendations we think you would like. Specific activities include:
- Community Conversations: New conversations that have been started
- Recipes: New recipes added to Communities, recipes in Communities that have been marked as Made It and reviewed
- Recipe recommendations
How will I know which posts are new?
All activities above the “You are all caught up” line are new.
How can I find older posts in my Home Feed that are no longer there.
When you see the “You’re all caught up” message you should also see the “View earlier posts” prompt.
What is the difference between posts in the Home Feed and posts in the Notification center?
Notifications Center will only show actions that are related to your specific actions. For example, if someone likes a recipe you posted in a Community or likes or responds to a recipe Made It/review. Home Feed is more broad and related to 1) All activities that happen in the Communities you have joined and 2) New recipe recommendations
Can I add other types of updates to my Home Feed, like recipe reviews, new Community members, etc.?
Not at this time but it is something we are working on.
