We've listened to your feedback and made some exciting updates to Meal Planner! These changes simplify navigation, remove extra steps, and make it quicker to plan and view your meals.
Here’s what’s new and how it helps you.
Key Changes in Meal Planner
A New, Easier Way to Navigate
Instead of switching views with a button, we now have simple tabs to organize everything. Just tap a tab to move between sections:
- Plan – Your weekly meal planner, now with a cleaner look.
- For You – A redesigned version of Personalized Tailored Plan with a fresh layout.
- Queue – This used to be called Unscheduled Meals. It’s where you keep meals you haven’t assigned to a day yet.
- Previous – Your Previously Planned meals, now easier to browse.
No more extra clicks or swipes - just tap the tab you need.
No More Recipe Preview - Go Straight to the Recipe!
Before, when you tapped a meal in your planner, you had to go through Quick View first (a small preview with nutritional info) before opening the full recipe. Now, tapping a meal takes you straight to the recipe page - no extra steps!
You get to the full recipe faster, just like you wanted!
(Note: If you tap a food item instead of a recipe, Quick View will still open.)
A Cleaner, More Helpful Header
- The top section is now simpler and stays visible as you scroll.
- The three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the plan has been updated - it now includes meal sharing options.
- A new Add Plan to Shopping List button makes it even easier to create your grocery list.
- Long-pressing a recipe tile now opens the menu, just like tapping the three-dot menu on the recipe.
Everything you need is now in one easy-to-find place.
Drag & Drop Changes
- You can no longer drag and drop meals in this version.
- Instead, just press and hold a meal to open a menu with options or tap on the three dot menu.
Long-pressing makes it easier to manage meals, especially on mobile.
Your Meal Plan Opens Right to Today’s Date
- No more scrolling to find today’s meals! When you open Meal Planner, it will automatically show today’s date first.
Saves time when checking what’s for dinner.
In Summary - What’s Changed?
