Your Notifications feed on Samsung Food helps you stay in touch with updates in your favorite Communities, with recipes you love and Samsung Food users you follow or may want to follow.
You can access your Notifications by selecting the bell in the upper right corner. A red dot will be highlighted when there are new updates.
What is in my Notifications
The Notifications feed shows activities with recipes you've saved, recipes you've reviewed (Made It!) and recipes you've shared in Communities. In addition to showing you the number of times the activity has happened, it shows you who.
Activities in Notifications include:
- When someone replies or likes a post in a Community
- When someone replies to or likes a recipe review of yours, or a reply to a recipe review you've made
- When someone saves a recipe you have reviewed, including the number of saves of that recipe
- When someone reviews a recipe you've shared in a Community
- When another Samsung Food user adds you to their Follow list
You'll see both the number and names/images of the people who
How are my notifications organized
Most recent posts are at the top and listed in chronological order. Your Notifications feed keeps the last 30 updates.
If a recipe or image is attached to a post, that will show as well.
Only the first two lines of any post will show. To see the entire post in Conversations, select the specific update in the Notifications feed and it will take you to the Community and the post.
How do I identify new notifications
All notifications above the “You are all caught up” line are new. When you open your Notifications feed, any update that is in view will be considered to have been reviewed.
Can I add other types of updates to my Notifications feed, like recipe reviews, new Community members, etc.?
Not at this time but it is something we are working on.
