How can I change the aisle for an ingredient on my shopping list?
At this time, changing the aisle of an ingredient on your shopping list is not possible. You can only choose to sort your shopping list by aisle or by recipe.
How to change the quantity of an ingredient in the shopping list?
From your shopping list, tap the ingredient. Then from the menu, tap the quantity field. Choose a quantity and unit of measurement. Then, press Save.
Why does an ingredient I’m adding to my shopping list not show up in autocomplete?
Currently, Samsung Food has a limited number of items that will show up in autocomplete. However, as long as you enter and spell the item correctly, Samsung Food will correctly categorize the item and include an image of the item, even though it does not show up in autocomplete. The Samsung Food team is always working on improving our autocomplete content.
How many items can I add to the shopping list?
The maximum number of items is 200 per one shopping list. Crossed-out items (you can find them below the list in the Checked items section) count as well. To clear them out press x Clear in the upper right corner next to Checked items.
How do I remove all the items from my shopping list?
From your Shopping tab, select the three dots in the top right corner of the screen, then select Remove all items. All the items on your shopping list will be removed at once.
Can I have multiple shopping lists?
Yes, your existing shopping list will be your default list. However, you can create additional shopping lists. To create a new shopping list, from your Shopping tab, click the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then, press the Create new list button. Enter a name for your new shopping list and press Create. You will be redirected to your newly created shopping list.
Can I customize or add to the shopping list categories?
We do not currently have a feature to edit or customize the categories in the shopping list.
If an item falls under Uncategorized, it means that the item is not being recognized. Please confirm that the ingredient is spelled correctly and it is not a brand product (we only recognize ingredients), you can report the problem to us and request that the ingredient be added. We follow the product categorization used by our biggest integrated stores like Walmart. If you feel that a certain category is incorrect you can send us feedback from the Shopping List tab and we will consider it.
