Samsung Food provides many ways to report issues or concerns with content and users on the platform. There are two kinds of reports:
1. Feedback: Problems here fall into the category of something is wrong with a recipe, for example an ingredient might not be recognized or you can't import a photo.
2. Issue: Problems here fall into the category of inappropriate content or actions
Feedback
You can leave feedback about recipes, Meal Planner, and Shopping List items.
Recipes
Before leaving feedback, it is important to distinguish between issues with the recipe itself and issues with a recipe on Samsung Food. Samsung Food is an app. We do not provide content but rather have created flexible solutions for users to add content to the app. All content is added by Samsung Food users and comes from third parties - third party recipe sites and recipes Samsung Food users have added via Recipe Builder and shared. Since we are not the creators/owners of the recipe content, if the issue is with the recipe itself, the best approach is to reach out to the recipe creator directly.
If the issue is about your opinion of the recipe and if you have made the recipe, we encourage you to use our Made It! feature and leave your reviews directly in the review section below the recipe.
Accessing our features to leave feedback on recipes is available on recipes in the Recipe Box. Click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner to open this dialog box:
Click Leave feedback to open this menu:
Click on the most relevant topic to leave feedback - your email address associated with your account will automatically be populated. Please provide as much information as possible so that we can understand and, if necessary, reproduce the issue:
Issue with title: Let us know if you see something technically wrong with the title.
Issue with ingredients: Let us know if you see something wrong with one or more ingredients, for example an ingredient is not being recognized.
Issue with instructions: Assuming the issue is not coming from the recipe source, let us know if you see something technically wrong with the instructions.
Issue with photo: Assuming the issue is not coming from the recipe source, let us know if there are technical issues with the photo, for example you cannot get the photo to upload.
Report Spam: Use this option if the recipe is believed to be some kind of spam.
Other: Use this option for all other feedback about the recipe.
Meal Planner
If you are having an issue with the Meal Planner or want to provide some feedback on this feature, from the Meal Planner, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner to open this dialog box:
Click Leave feedback to open this dialog box:
The email associated with your account will be populated. Please provide as much information as possible in Details if there is a problem so that we can reproduce it.
Shopping List
Need to report a problem with an item in your Shopping List, for example an item is not being recognized? Click the item in the Shopping List and then select Feedback in the lower right corner of the dialog box:

Click on the most relevant topic to leave feedback - your email address associated with your account will automatically be populated. Please provide as much information as possible so that we can understand and, if necessary, reproduce the issue:
Missing image: Let us know if the image is missing from the store item in the shopping list.
Wrong or missing category: Let us know if your item is falling into the wrong category on your list or the Uncategorized category.
Not appearing in Search: Using the Add item feature and you can't find what you are looking for? Use this option to report that to us.
Other: Use this option for all other feedback about the store item.
Note: The Samsung Food platform is designed to recognize ingredients, not brands. For example, we will recognize ''chicken nuggets", but not necessarily "Dino Buddies". Sometimes you can get a brand product recognized on the shopping list trying to add the corresponding generic ingredient name. For example, “Dino Buddies chicken nuggets”. If this does not work, try removing the brand name and using the ingredient name for the item.
Issue
There are a number of features in the app where you can report a recipe, Community or Profile (user). Our features to report issues can be identified with the flag icon:
Recipe
You can send notification of an "inappropriate recipe" from a number of different features across the app:

In each of the above cases, use the three-dot menu available and click the Report menu item available. Your email address associated with your account will automatically be populated. Please provide as much information as possible so that we can understand the issue:
Inappropriate content: If you feel like what you are seeing violates standards of appropriate content, please use this option to report it to us.
Infringes intellectual property rights: If you feel like IP rights are being violated by a recipe, community or user, please use this option to let us know.
Spam or misleading: If you feel like content or comments on the site fall into the category of spam or are purposely misleading, please use this option.
Recipe doesn't fit community: If you think a recipe that does not match the theme of a community has been added, please use this options
